Popcorn terms of service
Last updated: 8 October 2026
About Popcorn
Popcorn is an independent iPhone and iPad app developed by Stephan van Stekelenburg in the Netherlands. It connects to a TeamCity server you choose so that you can view projects and builds and perform build actions.
Popcorn is not affiliated with or endorsed by JetBrains. TeamCity is a trademark of JetBrains s.r.o.
App license
Unless a custom license is supplied with the app, your use of Popcorn is licensed under Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These product terms explain Popcorn’s service requirements and support arrangements; they do not replace that license or your rights under applicable consumer law.
Your TeamCity connection
You must have authorized access to an existing TeamCity Cloud instance. Popcorn does not provide a TeamCity account, server, build agent, or TeamCity license. The terms of your TeamCity service and organization apply separately.
Use a personal access token with appropriate permissions and protect it as a credential. Only connect to servers and access projects you are authorized to use. You can remove a saved connection in Popcorn Settings and revoke its token in TeamCity.
Build actions
Starting or cancelling a build sends a request to your configured server. These actions can affect your team’s work and use server or build-agent resources. Check the selected server, configuration, and branch before performing an action.
Popcorn’s functionality depends on your server’s availability, network connectivity, compatible API behavior, and account permissions. The current version checks status while relevant screens are open; it does not provide push notifications or continuous background monitoring.
Purchases
Popcorn is a one-time paid app download. The current version has no subscription or in-app purchases. The price displayed by your App Store storefront applies to your purchase; TeamCity hosting and service charges are separate.
Apple manages App Store payments and refund requests under its applicable terms. See Apple’s refund instructions.
Privacy and support
The privacy policy explains local storage, direct server connections, and support information.
For support, contact [email protected] or visit stephanvs.com. Do not include credentials or confidential build information in support requests.
Updates
The date above identifies the current version of these product terms. Material changes to the app’s purchase model, data practices, or service requirements will be described in the relevant updated terms and privacy information.
